Dear Parent/ Carer,
Today we have said goodbye to many of
our year 6 pupils. It has been a happy but emotional week in which we have
watched them play their violins, had a wonderful prom and listened to their
memories of school at the Leavers’ Assembly this afternoon. To those of you leaving
us, we wish you all the very best for your future and hope that you will come
back and visit us!
Next Monday is our INSET day and school
is closed to pupils, Tuesday is our poetry day with the Poet Paul Cookson. We
look forward to welcoming you in on Tuesday afternoon to award the June Wood
trophy. Details will be sent out for each Key Stage.
At the end of this academic year we
will be saying goodbye to several members of staff; Miss Pyatt is leaving us to
go and teach in the Seychelles, Miss Darroch has secured another post at
Victoria Primary and Mrs Beckwith is retiring.
We wish them all the very best for the future and hope that they will be
happy in their new ventures.
